SENSORY FRIENDLY MASS
AND SOCIAL
Saturday, October 10, 2026
5:00 P.M. at St. Marcelline Campus (Diemer Hall)
Please join us for a Sensory-Friendly Mass welcoming individuals and families with loved ones of all ages with special needs.
Our Sensory-Friendly Mass is designed to create a welcoming and supportive environment for individuals and families who may benefit from a little more flexibility during Mass.
Please feel free to bring your wiggle seats, fidgets, comforting toys, noise-cancelling headphones, sunglasses, or anything else that helps you and your loved one feel comfortable and ready to participate.
Movement, vocalizations, sensory supports, and stepping out when needed are welcome. We will offer a more relaxed environment with accommodations to help everyone participate in the celebration of Mass.
The music will be softer, with no sudden increases in volume, slower tempo, fewer verses. No incense, access to gluten free hosts and a prepared community who is ready to receive our friends with special needs with understanding and without judgement.
Following Mass, we’ll gather for pizza, fellowship, and fun! It’s a wonderful opportunity to connect with other families in a welcoming and supportive environment.
We'd love to have you join us! Please let us know you're coming by completing this form below:
