RELIGIOUS EDUCATION

Religious Education Registration 2025-2026
​will be open from June 1st through July 31, 2025

Sessions for Religious Education will start mid-September.

*St. Marcelline families, please note that Religious Education classes are only available during the school year;
we no longer offer a Sacramental Summer Program.
We will host Vacation Bible School Summer Camp In July.

PROGRAMS
  • First Communion and Confirmation Programs duration: 2 years each. Registration is done yearly.
  • First Communion: 3rd grade - 12th grade.
  • Confirmation: 5th grade - 12th grade; prerequisite: First Communion.
  • Non-Sacramental Program:
Introduction to Catechesis for children in 1st and 2nd grade. (Not available in Spanish.)
  • Baptism for children ages 7 and older:
Child is eligible to be baptized at the end of the first year of formation.
  • Special Needs Program:
English or Spanish. Copy of IEP is required. 2 Saturdays a month. Schedule is on a case-by-case basis.


CLASSES:
September-April
  • Saturday 9:00 am - 11:00 am (English): First Communion and the Non-Sacramental Program.
  • Sunday 11:00 am – 12:45 pm (Spanish): First Communion.
  • Wednesday 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm (English and Spanish): Confirmation I & II. (*Please note change of time for 2025-2026.)
 

LOCATION
Classes are held at St. Marcelline Campus: 820 Springinsguth Rd., Schaumburg, IL 60193. 


REQUIREMENTS FOR ENROLLMENT
* Important: All students must be able to recite the basic prayers before starting classes.


ANNUAL TUITION
  • 1 child - $250 per year
  • 2 siblings - $350 per year
  • 3+ siblings - $450 per year
 
Confirmation II Fee:
Tuition plus a $50 fee per student in their second year of Confirmation.

PAYMENT
  • Please note, all tuition payments will be processed via Give Central.
  • $100 non-refundable administrative fee in case of cancellations or withdrawals.

Ingles o español. Se requiere copia del IEP. Las sesiones son 2 sábados al mes. El horario varia.

  • Miércoles 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm (inglés y español): Confirmación I y II. (* Favor de tomar en cuenta el cambio de horario para 2025-2026.)
