SAFE ENVIRONMENT PROGRAM

VIRTUS REGISTRATION

All volunteers who work with children or vulnerable adults must conform to the policies set forth by the Archdiocese of Chicago's Office for Protecting Children and Youth.  Please contact our Safe Environment Program Site Administrator, Maria Borla for more information and guidelines.

Archdiocese of Chicago Compliance Requirements

All parish volunteers who have any contact with children through their ministry/ministries or who perform a ministry where children may be present must conform to the policies set forth by the Archdiocese of Chicago's Office for Protecting Children and Youth.

These policies require that volunteers complete an Illinois Child Abuse & Neglect Tracking System Form, read and sign the Archdiocesan Code of Conduct Form, and complete a Virtus Training Workshop and the Mandated Reporter Training.

Compliance Guidelines  (English | Español | Polski) have been created outlining what is required of school and parish employees, school and parish volunteers, priests, deacons, seminarians, and pastoral center employees.

Illinois Child Abuse & Neglect Tracking System
All volunteers must complete and return the Child Abuse & Neglect Form to the Parish Ministry Office.  Do not send this form to DCFS.
Print this form and complete information.  You may also type in the information, save the document, and then print it.
