Vacation Bible School is our super fun camp that not only teaches kids about God's love but gives volunteers an opportunity to connect with their community, make friends and spread God's love! The VBS team needs volunteers to make this all happen!
Volunteer needs:
Station Leaders: Station Leaders are the adult "teachers" at each station. There is a manual that tells the leader exactly what to say and do. Station leaders are engaging and committed to teaching kids about God's love in a fun way!
Sticky Scripture: At this station, students watch a little video clip that relates to what they are learning that day. They participate in discussion questions, learning about using a Bible and get their cute Bible Buddy. You don't have to be an expert in scripture, it is a great opportunity to learn and explore along with the students.
Imagination Station: At this station, students participate in a science experiment that ties into the daily Bible point and/or story and teaches kids to notice God in their lives. The experiments are all provided for you, so you don't have to be creative, you just have to enjoy experimenting!
Crew Leaders: 8th grade through college age to be "crew leaders" to lead small groups of students around to each of their stations. No specific experience is needed; you just need to enjoy spending time with children ages preschool through 5th grade!
Volunteers must be available Monday July 27-Friday July 31 8:30-12:15 pm.
Please contact Stephanie Hopkins ([email protected]) with any questions or fill out this form to sign up as a volunteer!
