* PLEASE keep your child's book in a safe place. They will need to bring it back on the first day of classes.

Religious Education Classes will start in September at St. Marcelline.
First Communion
English: Saturday, September 20th, 9am-11am.
Spanish: Sunday, September 21st, after the 10am Mass, 11am-12:45pm.

Confirmation
English and Spanish: Wednesday, September 17th, 6pm-8pm.

Special Needs
English: Saturday, September 20th, 10:30am-11:30am.

An email with more details will be sent the week of September 15th.

Las clases de Educacion Religiosa comenzaran en Septiembre en San Marcelline.
Primera Comunion
Ingles: Sabado 20 de septiembre, 9am-11am.
Español: Domingo 21 de septiembre, despues de la misa de 10am, 11am-12:45pm.

Confirmacion
Ingles y Espanol: Miercoles 17 de septiembre, 6pm-8pm.

Necesidades Especiales
Ingles: Sabado 20 de septiembre, 10:30am-11:30pm.

Se enviara un email con mas detalles la semana del 15 de septiembre.
PROGRAMS
  • First Communion and Confirmation Programs duration: 2 years each.
  • First Communion: 3rd grade - 12th grade.
  • Confirmation: 5th grade - 12th grade; prerequisite: First Communion.
  • Non-Sacramental Program:
Introduction to Catechesis for children in 1st and 2nd grade. (Not available in Spanish.)
  • Baptism for children ages 7 and older:
Child is eligible to be baptized at the end of the first year of formation.
  • Special Needs Program:
English or Spanish. Copy of IEP is required. 2 Saturdays a month. Schedule varies.


CLASSES:
September-April
  • Saturday 9:00 am - 11:00 am (English): First Communion, Non-Sacramental Program.
  • Sunday 11:00 am – 12:45 pm (Spanish): First Communion.
  • Wednesday 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm (English and Spanish): Confirmation I & II. ​(*Please note class time for 2025-2026.)
 

LOCATION
Classes are held at St. Marcelline Campus: 820 Springinsguth Rd., Schaumburg, IL 60193. 


REQUIREMENTS FOR ENROLLMENT
  • Copy of Baptismal / First Communion Certificate. (only new students)
  • Complete Online Registration Form
  • Online Payment 
  • Registration for 2025-2026 cannot be processed until all outstanding balances for previous school year have been cleared. 

* Important: All students must be able to recite the basic prayers before starting classes.


ANNUAL TUITION
  • 1 child - $250 per year
  • 2 siblings - $350 per year
  • 3+ siblings - $450 per year
 
Confirmation II Fee:
​Tuition plus a $50 fee per student in their second year of Confirmation.
 

​PAYMENT
  • Please note, all tuition payments will be processed via Give Central.
  • $100 non-refundable administrative fee in case of cancellations or withdrawals.
